| Yandex Caller ID Now Shows Business Photos, Ratings, and More on Incoming Calls. |
Have you ever received a call from an unknown number and wondered who it was? Well, if you're using Yandex apps, you don’t have to worry anymore! Yandex has just rolled out a cool update to its caller ID feature, making it way more informative and useful.
Now, in the latest Android versions of the Yandex with Alice app and the Yandex Browser, you’ll get detailed info when a business calls you. We’re talking company ratings, photos of their office or store, business hours, and even a link to their website — all instantly available after the call.
But here’s the cool part: sometimes you’ll even see the business’s photo pop up during the call itself. So if it’s a place you’ve visited before, you might recognize it right away just from the image.
The company ratings are pulled from Yandex Maps reviews, and you can tap on the rating to see what other people are saying about that business. It’s a super handy way to get quick insights before deciding to pick up or call back.
This new functionality is possible thanks to an integration with Yandex Business, a platform where companies can manage and verify their business information. To appear in the caller ID, a business must have at least one physical location and have filled out its profile in Yandex Business.
With this update, Yandex makes it easier for users to feel confident about who's calling — especially when it comes to businesses. No more guessing games with unknown numbers. It might just be your favorite local café or a shop you’ve recently visited!
