Chelsea suffered a harsh defeat after being thrashed 3-0 by Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Liverpool, on Saturday local time. This loss sends a warning signal for the Blues as they continue their fight to reach the top four in the Premier League standings.

Everton came out aggressively from the start. James Garner created several chances, including a shot that was blocked by Chelsea's defense. In the 33rd minute, Garner’s brilliant pass was converted into a goal by Beto, giving Everton a 1-0 lead that lasted until halftime.

In the second half, Chelsea tried to bounce back. Enzo Fernandez threatened Everton’s goal, but goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made crucial saves to deny the Blues. Everton, however, doubled their advantage in the 62nd minute with a counterattack finished by Beto, scoring his second goal of the match.

Chelsea continued pressing but Pickford remained a barrier to their efforts. Everton sealed the victory in the 76th minute when Iliman Ndiaye converted an assist from Beto, making it 3-0 for the home team.

This result keeps Chelsea in sixth place in the Premier League with 48 points from 31 matches, three points behind the top four. Meanwhile, Everton climbs to seventh with 46 points, just five points off the top four.
