Oppo is making waves again in the foldable smartphone market with the launch of the Find N6 in China. The device immediately grabs attention thanks to its upgraded display design, featuring a crease that is almost invisible.
Unlike most foldable phones where the crease is still noticeable, Oppo has significantly improved the display structure. The result is a smoother and more seamless user experience, both visually and when touched.
Smoother Display, Same Stunning Quality
The Find N6 comes with an 8.12-inch main display featuring a resolution of 2480 x 2248 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the outer display measures 6.62 inches with a resolution of 2616 x 1140 pixels and similar specs.
Both screens use AMOLED technology and support HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, delivering vibrant and sharp visuals. The display also supports stylus input, making it ideal for productivity.
200MP Camera Becomes The New Highlight
Oppo has significantly upgraded the camera system. The device now features a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 main sensor, replacing the previous 50MP sensor.
In addition, it includes a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. A 2MP Danxia multispectral sensor is also included to enhance color accuracy.
Bigger Battery, Faster Charging
On the power side, the battery capacity has been increased to 6,000mAh. It supports 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The smartphone also comes with water and dust resistance rated at IP56, IP58, and IP59, making it more durable for everyday use.
Powerful Performance With Latest Snapdragon Chip
The Find N6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, though in a slightly trimmed seven-core version. It comes with 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1.
The device runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, and includes modern features like NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, multi-band Wi-Fi, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
However, there is a minor downgrade in connectivity, as it uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 instead of the newer Gen 2.
Price and Availability
The Oppo Find N6 starts at 9,999 yuan (around $1,600). This is slightly higher than its predecessor. Sales in China are set to begin on March 20.
Oppo also offers additional accessories such as a stylus, protective case, and foldable keyboard, which are sold separately.
With its improved display technology and high-end specs, the Find N6 could easily become one of the best foldable smartphones of the year.
