Tanah Laut Police tighten initial verification for 2026 Polri recruitment to ensure a transparent, objective, and fee-free selection process from the start.

Polres Tanah Laut, in coordination with Polda Kalimantan Selatan, has tightened the initial stages of the 2026 Polri recruitment process. The focus is on verifying online registrations and thoroughly checking applicants’ administrative documents.

The process has been taking place at the Satya Brata Hall of Tanah Laut Police Headquarters since Monday, serving as a crucial first step to ensure all candidates meet the required qualifications before proceeding further.

Tanah Laut Police Chief, Ricky Boy Siallagan, emphasized that initial verification is a key foundation in maintaining the quality of the recruitment process.

“This process is an essential foundation to ensure that all subsequent stages run according to the established principles,” he said in Pelaihari, Tanah Laut Regency, on Sunday.

Strict Administrative Screening From The Start

The Recruitment Assistance Committee (Pabanrim) from the Human Resources Division of Tanah Laut Police conducted detailed document checks on all applicants who had previously registered through the online system.

In addition to administrative verification, officers also measured applicants’ height and weight as part of the initial screening to ensure compliance with official standards.

This step is considered crucial to filter candidates early, allowing only those who meet the requirements to proceed to the next stages.

Commitment To Transparency And Zero Fees

The Police Chief stressed that the entire recruitment process follows the BETAH principle: Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humane.

“We ensure that all stages of the recruitment process are conducted in a clean, transparent, accountable, and humane manner,” he stated.

He also reminded applicants and their families that the recruitment process is completely free of charge. They are urged not to trust individuals who promise guaranteed acceptance.

“We strongly advise against believing anyone who claims they can secure your acceptance,” he added.
