KUBU RAYA – The Head of Education and Culture Office of Kubu Raya, Sy. Muhammad Firdaus, S.Pd., M.Pd., emphasized that school activities are still running as usual and no decision has been made to implement online learning.
This statement comes amid circulating information on social media and online news about potential distance learning. According to Firdaus, the central government through the relevant ministry has confirmed that online learning will not be implemented at this time.
"Learning activities are still running normally as usual. There is no decision to switch to online or distance learning," he stated.
Firdaus also reminded schools to remain calm and vigilant while preparing for future possibilities. If the government decides to implement online learning, the office is ready to comply.
"If the government implements online or distance learning, we are ready to follow the regulations," Firdaus added.
Classes are scheduled to resume on Monday, March 30, with activities such as the flag ceremony and student pledge reading. Schools are asked to document these activities and report them through their respective supervisors.
With this clarification, parents, teachers, and students are expected to stay calm and focus on ongoing in-person learning.
