| Disney Drops First Trailer for Zootopia 2 — The Long-Awaited Sequel Coming After 9 Years. |
Great news for animation fans! Disney has just released the very first trailer for Zootopia 2, the sequel to the hugely successful 2016 hit that grossed over a billion dollars worldwide. Can you believe it’s been 9 years since the original?
This time around, we’re back with our favorite detective duo, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. They face a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and shakes up the everyday life of the city’s mammal residents. To solve this new case, Judy and Nick go undercover in some unexpected and unexplored parts of the city. It’s going to be an exciting adventure that will really test their friendship and teamwork!
Along with the trailer, Disney also revealed a fresh new poster for the upcoming movie — and it looks amazing!
The film is directed by Oscar winners Jared Bush and Byron Howard, who worked on the first Zootopia movie as well. It’s produced by Yvette Merino Flores, who also won an Academy Award for her work on Encanto. The voice cast features Jason Bateman, Quinta Brunson, Fortune Feimster, Ginnifer Goodwin, Ke Huy Quan, and even singer Shakira.
