Huawei Launches Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4: Advanced Health Features and Sleek Design Starting at Just IDR 2 Million

Huawei just held a big launch event in Berlin, and their newest smartwatches stole the spotlight: the Huawei Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4. These two watches aren't just stylish—they come packed with smart health and fitness features that take things to the next level!

Huawei Watch 5: Monitor Your Health with Just a Finger Tap

One of the biggest highlights of the Huawei Watch 5 is its cutting-edge Huawei X‑TAP sensor. This tech lets you measure things like your ECG (electrocardiogram), blood oxygen level (SpO2), and arterial stiffness—all by simply pressing your finger on the side of the watch. Super easy, right?

The X‑TAP module combines an optical sensor, ECG electrode, and pressure sensor that improves signal accuracy up to 50x more than traditional methods. In just 10 seconds, you can check your blood oxygen levels. Want a full health report? Wait 60 seconds and get detailed data including:

  • Heart rate

  • Heart rate variability

  • Skin temperature

  • Stress levels

  • Breathing metrics

  • Even sleep disorder signs!

Elegant Design, Ultra-Bright Display, and Long Battery Life

Huawei Watch 5 comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes, with options for stainless steel and titanium bodies. There's even a special edition with a unique purple titanium casing, created using a special oxidation process—though in real life, it looks more like bluish-gray.

The screen is incredibly bright with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness—great for outdoor use. The battery lasts up to 4.5 days on a single charge. Plus, it supports handy gesture controls like double tap and double swipe.

In Russia, prices range from IDR 8.5 million to IDR 13.8 million (approximately RUB 39,999–64,999).

Huawei Watch Fit 4: Slimmer, Lighter, and Adventure-Ready

If you prefer something more compact and sporty, check out the Huawei Watch Fit 4. It keeps the classic rectangular shape but now with a thinner (9.3mm) and lighter (30g) body.

This watch is built for the outdoors with support for:

  • Water sports

  • Hiking

  • Trail running

  • Even freediving up to 40 meters deep!

The Pro version steps it up with sapphire glass, a titanium body, and topographic map support for advanced navigation—perfect for adventurers.

Prices start at around IDR 2.8 million for the standard version and IDR 4.2 million for the Pro.

Other New Gadgets: FreeBuds 6 and MatePad Pro 12.2"

Alongside the smartwatches, Huawei also introduced:

  • Huawei FreeBuds 6: Semi-open wireless earbuds with support for lossless audio up to 2.3 Mbps. Priced at around IDR 2.6 million.

  • Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2": A powerful tablet with a Tandem OLED display and PaperMatte technology. It works seamlessly with the Glide Keyboard and upgraded Notes app—making it a true productivity beast. It’s priced at about IDR 16.5 million.

Huawei Smartwatches Just Got Smarter and Better Looking

Huawei really stepped up their game with the new Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4. Whether you want a premium health-focused watch or a sporty, lightweight tracker, there’s something here for you. And with stylish designs, advanced sensors, and longer battery life, these watches are perfect for anyone serious about health and lifestyle.

Plus, with the launch of FreeBuds 6 and the MatePad Pro, Huawei's ecosystem just got a whole lot more powerful.
