Jason Momoa’s Son, Nakoa-Wolf, to Make Acting Debut in Dune 3 Alongside His Father. |
Exciting news from Hollywood! Jason Momoa’s 16-year-old son, Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, is officially making his big screen debut in Dune 3. He’ll be playing a major role — Leto Atreides II, the son of Paul Atreides (played by Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (played by Zendaya), a character who appears after the events of Frank Herbert’s original novel.
Adding to the excitement, Jason Momoa himself is returning to the franchise as Duncan Idaho — the ghola version of the beloved character. That means father and son will be sharing the screen in this highly anticipated sci-fi epic. How awesome is that?
Nakoa-Wolf will also star alongside young actress Aida Brook, known for her performance in the series Silo. She’ll be playing Ghanima, the twin sister of Leto II.

Dune 3 is expected to adapt Herbert’s second novel, Dune Messiah, focusing on events that take place 12 years after Paul Atreides ascends the throne. The film will once again be directed by Denis Villeneuve and will serve as the final chapter in the Dune trilogy.
So far, the release date and official subtitle of the film haven’t been revealed. However, production is set to begin soon. There’s also no official word yet on which other cast members from the previous films will be returning.
For Dune fans, the idea of seeing a real-life father and son team up in such a legendary franchise is thrilling. Watching their on-screen chemistry — especially in a world as rich and complex as Dune — is sure to be a highlight.
Stay tuned for more updates on Dune 3 as production kicks off. We’re just as excited as you are!
