Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Officially Announced with Upgraded External Display, Powerful Performance, and a Unique Mini Photo Printer Bundle. |
Xiaomi has officially launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, bringing a significant leap in design, display capabilities, and overall user experience. This new clamshell-style phone not only maintains a sleek and sturdy build but also introduces several exciting upgrades, including a smarter external display and powerful internal hardware.
Slimmer Design with Enhanced Durability
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 keeps its iconic folding design but now comes with a more durable hinge and a matte-finished metal frame. When folded, the phone is only 7.57mm thick and weighs approximately 199 grams, making it one of the lightest and most portable foldables in its class.

The primary display remains a 6.86-inch flexible AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This time, it is made from ultra-tough flexible glass, providing better durability and a smoother surface, with the crease at the fold significantly less noticeable compared to previous models.
On the outside, the 4.01-inch OLED secondary display gets a major upgrade. It now supports a 120Hz refresh rate, peaks at 1,200 nits brightness, and can run around 500 apps, allowing users to interact with multiple applications without unfolding the device. Xiaomi also added a playful touch—a small animated yellow bird that responds to user actions, such as vibrating when the device is charging.
Flagship Performance Powered by Snapdragon
Under the hood, the Mix Flip 2 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and an enhanced cooling system. Xiaomi claims this new cooling tech outperforms that of the iPhone 16 Pro. In Geekbench tests, the device scored 3,099 in single-core and 9,583 in multi-core performance, making it a powerhouse for gaming, productivity, and multitasking.
Larger Battery with Fast Charging Support
Battery life also sees a notable improvement with a 5,165mAh battery (up from 4,780mAh in the previous model). The phone supports 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring quick top-ups even on the go. It runs out of the box on Android 15, giving users access to the latest features and security updates.
Dual 50MP Cameras with Optical Image Stabilization
On the photography front, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 sports a dual-camera system on the rear: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus. While the overall camera setup is similar to its predecessor, image processing and focusing have been fine-tuned for better clarity and low-light performance.
Pricing and Exclusive Bundle with Mini Photo Printer
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is priced starting at 5,999 yuan (approximately 13,300,000 IDR) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, the same price as the original first-generation model.
An exclusive bundle is also available, which includes:
-
A pocket-sized photo printer
-
A set of photo paper
-
A matching wrist strap
This complete bundle is priced at 699 yuan (around 1,550,000 IDR), making it a perfect add-on for users who love printing memories directly from their phone.
Xiaomi Also Introduces Smart Band 10 Anniversary Edition
In addition to the Mix Flip 2, Xiaomi introduced the Smart Band 10 Anniversary Edition, featuring a symmetrical bezel design and up to 21 days of battery life. This fitness tracker adds to Xiaomi’s growing ecosystem of wearables.
With its refined design, smarter dual-display setup, powerful hardware, and exclusive bundle, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 positions itself as one of the most compelling foldable smartphones in the premium segment. Whether you're into mobile productivity, photography, or simply want a device that stands out, this phone brings both style and substance to the table.
