Real Action for the Nation: ATR/BPN Secretary General Pushes Acceleration of Programs in Q2 Performance Evaluation 2025.

Jakarta — To ensure all strategic programs stay on track, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) held its Quarter II 2025 Performance Evaluation and Program Analysis on Monday, July 14, 2025. This session served as a crucial moment to assess achievements, identify challenges, and speed up the implementation of key programs.

During the hybrid meeting (held both in-person and online), the Secretary General of ATR/BPN, Pudji Prasetijanto Hadi, delivered a strong message: everyone in the organization must stay committed to completing the programs that were planned at the beginning of the year.

"I want all of us to truly commit to executing the programs we've already planned. Challenges and obstacles are normal in any organization, but what's important is that we evaluate ourselves internally," said Pudji Prasetijanto Hadi at the ministry's headquarters in Jakarta.

The Need for Honest Internal Evaluation

He acknowledged that there are still various obstacles on the ground when it comes to executing programs. However, he emphasized that each unit—both central and regional—must have the ability and willingness to conduct internal evaluations in a fair and honest manner.

"Here at the Secretariat General, we collect and compile data on program results and budget absorption. But the real executors are our colleagues in the technical units. So it's essential that every team does their own internal check to pinpoint where things are going wrong and how to fix them," he added.

Not Just Another Routine Agenda

The Secretary General made it clear that this evaluation isn't just another item on the agenda. It's a critical tool to ensure that programs are running as planned and that budget spending is on target.

"We have to make sure program implementation and budget use align with the goals we've set. We can't afford to have projects stall or funds left unused," he stressed.

Strengthening Internal Collaboration

Andi Tenri Abeng, Head of the Bureau of Planning and Cooperation, echoed the importance of this evaluation. For her, it's a perfect opportunity to enhance internal coordination across ATR/BPN.

"This evaluation is mandatory every quarter. It allows us to measure performance progress and prepare for the next steps to ensure even better outcomes," she explained.

The Q2 Performance Evaluation is scheduled to run for three days, from July 14 to July 16, 2025. Thousands of participants across Indonesia, including representatives from Regional Land Offices (Kanwil BPN) and Local Land Offices (Kantah), joined the session virtually.

Top Officials Share Their Insights

Several high-ranking officials also joined the event online to give directions and insights, including:

  • Yulia Jaya Nirmawati, Director General of Agrarian Structure

  • Embun Sari, Director General of Land Acquisition and Land Development

  • Jonahar, Director General of Land and Spatial Control and Supervision

The event was also attended by other senior officials from ATR/BPN headquarters and regional offices.

Collaboration for a Better Indonesia

Quarterly evaluations like this are more than just procedural—they play a key role in making sure every move truly benefits the public. With strong teamwork between the central and regional offices, ATR/BPN aims to complete all strategic programs efficiently and effectively. The ultimate goal is to support national development and improve land services that are fair, transparent, and accessible for all Indonesians.
