Melissa explained that when Abigail passed away, her death happened so suddenly that doctors were unable to conduct thorough evaluations at the hospital. Abigail ultimately died from sepsis. In contrast, Molly was examined in a medical setting, which allowed doctors to gather more information.
Abigail was nine years old when she passed away. The family has not publicly shared Molly’s age.
