For those following the Bundesliga, this past weekend featured two thrilling matches that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Bayer Leverkusen and Monchengladbach both had to settle for draws against their respective opponents in Week 27, Saturday local time.

Leverkusen vs Heidenheim 3-3
Playing at Voith-Arena, Heidenheim, Leverkusen took the lead thanks to the brilliant performance of Patrik Schick, who scored twice, and an additional goal from Malik Tillman. However, the home side, Heidenheim, fought back with three goals from Hennes Behrens and Marvin Pieringer, securing a thrilling 3-3 result.

This draw keeps Leverkusen in 6th place with 46 points from 27 matches, 4 points shy of the top-four zone. Meanwhile, Heidenheim breathes a little easier, moving up from the bottom of the table with 15 points from 27 matches.

Monchengladbach vs Cologne 3-3
In another exciting match, Monchengladbach could only manage a draw against Cologne at RheinEnergie Stadium. Jens Castrop scored twice for Gladbach, with an additional goal from Philipp Sander. Cologne responded with three goals from Said El Mala, Ragnar Ache, and Eric Martel, ending the match in a 3-3 tie.

With this result, Monchengladbach stays in 12th place with 29 points, just three points above Cologne, who sits in 15th.
