Central Kalimantan Police Launch Criminal Investigation into GRIB Jaya Over Alleged Company Sealing.

Palangka Raya – The Central Kalimantan Regional Police have officially escalated the case involving the alleged illegal sealing of a company by the mass organization GRIB Jaya from the inquiry stage to a full investigation. This announcement was made by Central Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Iwan Kurniawan during a press conference on Tuesday (May 13, 2025).

“As a result, we have summoned the head of GRIB Jaya Central Kalimantan along with three other board members identified by the initials R, YR, EM, and YES for further questioning at the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarters,” said Inspector General Iwan.

The four individuals have been asked to appear as witnesses on Wednesday (May 14, 2025) at around 10:00 AM local time.

“We hope they will cooperate and attend the questioning to provide their testimonies to the Criminal Investigation Directorate,” he added.

Inspector General Iwan emphasized the police's commitment to law enforcement and dealing firmly with any criminal acts within the jurisdiction of the Central Kalimantan Police.

He also encouraged the public not to hesitate to report any acts of extortion or intimidation.

“We assure the public that all acts of thuggery will be dealt with thoroughly. The police are committed to protecting all citizens, and there is no place for such actions in our region,” he stressed.

This firm move by the authorities underscores the police’s stance in upholding justice and maintaining order across the region, ensuring that no group is above the law.
