Lenovo has recently introduced their latest tablet, the Legion Y700 Gen 4, which comes with unique and exciting features that make it more than just a regular tablet. This device offers an amazing gaming experience thanks to the Legion Controller G9, a controller case that transforms it into a portable Android console.

Key Design and Features

The Legion Y700 Gen 4 is equipped with an 8.8-inch IPS display with a 3040 × 1904 pixel resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth and sharp visuals while gaming. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, this tablet delivers high performance for both demanding apps and heavy games.

For a better gaming experience, the tablet comes with the Legion Controller G9, a controller case featuring Hall Effect analog sticks and standard game buttons. It also includes four programmable buttons on the back for additional control. There’s also a more advanced version of the case, the G9 Pro, which offers haptic feedback and optical ABXY switches for faster response.

Cameras and Audio

The Legion Y700 Gen 4 is also equipped with two cameras: a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP front camera for video calls or selfies. For audio, the tablet features two speakers that support Dolby Atmos, delivering an immersive sound experience.

Battery and Fast Charging

With a 7,600 mAh battery, this tablet supports 68W fast charging, ensuring you can get back to gaming in no time without waiting long for the device to recharge.

Price and Availability

In China, Lenovo offers the tablet in configurations of 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. The price starts at 3,299 yuan (around $460 USD). The Legion Controller G9 and G9 Pro will be sold separately, priced at 399 yuan (around $55 USD) and 499 yuan (around $70 USD), respectively. It's still unclear whether these accessories will be available internationally.

With its advanced features and the ability to transform into a portable gaming console, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 4 is an appealing option for gamers looking for a versatile device. It strikes a balance between high performance, a sharp display, and a design that allows users to enjoy Android games in a whole new and exciting way.
