Indonesian Land Ministry Targets Finalization of 2025–2029 Strategic Plan Draft by July, Secretary General Urges Collaborative Effort. |
Jakarta — The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is on track to complete the Ministerial Regulation Draft (Rapermen) for its Strategic Plan (Renstra) 2025–2029 by the end of July 2025. Secretary General of the Ministry, Pudji Prasetijanto Hadi, emphasized the importance of collaboration and timely completion during a coordination meeting in Jakarta on Thursday (June 19, 2025).
“This is a shared responsibility. Let’s stay focused and get it done together. We don’t want any misinterpretation about our direction moving forward, especially since we’re working on a tight deadline,” said Pudji.
What's the Progress So Far?
The draft regulation consists of two main parts: the body and the appendix. The good news? The body — which includes the preamble, articles, and closing — has been finalized. The appendix, however, is still under review and will need further discussions before final approval.
“What’s next is just finalizing the content and getting it approved. After that, we can move forward,” Pudji explained during the hybrid meeting attended both offline and online.
Aligned with National Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025–2029
This strategic draft isn’t being prepared in isolation. It’s being aligned with the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025–2029, which was enacted through Presidential Regulation No. 12 of 2025 back in February.
“I want all of us to take this seriously and properly break down the RPJMN into our own actionable plans,” Pudji emphasized.
July Is the Deadline
Head of the Bureau of Planning and Cooperation, Andi Tenri Abeng, expressed hope that the draft would be signed into regulation before the end of July.
“We’re aiming to have the Minister sign off on this by the end of July. So, we really need everyone’s support to stick to the timeline that has been laid out,” said Andi.
Meeting Attended by Key Officials
The coordination meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, administrators, and supervisors from across the ATR/BPN Ministry, both in-person and virtually. Everyone agreed that this strategic plan would serve as a solid foundation for the Ministry’s direction over the next five years.
With a strong focus on collaboration and a clear strategic direction, the Ministry of ATR/BPN is pushing to complete its 2025–2029 Strategic Plan on time. More than just a document, this plan sets the tone for how the Ministry will work and contribute to national development moving forward.
