Jakarta, July 30, 2025 – President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, warmly welcomed Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Their meeting, held in a cordial and strategic atmosphere, focused on regional cooperation, ASEAN’s role, and ongoing bilateral issues.

“First, I would like to congratulate you on your leadership in ASEAN. You have successfully mediated and helped secure a ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia. That is something we truly appreciate,” said President Prabowo.
