Sydney Sweeney Wants to Join Margot Robbie in Barbie Sequel and Teases Shocking Euphoria Season 3. |
Sydney Sweeney just gave fans a reason to get hyped. In a recent chat with Bustle, the Euphoria star revealed that she's totally down to join Margot Robbie in a potential Barbie sequel. Yup, you heard that right. If the studio ever gives the green light for a follow-up, Sydney is more than open to being part of the next chapter in Barbie Land.
She did say she’d want to read the script first, but she made it super clear how much she admires Margot. She called herself a huge fan and said she wouldn’t say no to working with her. So if Barbie 2 becomes a thing, we might just see Sydney bringing a whole new vibe to the dreamy world created by Greta Gerwig.
Now here’s the twist. Even though Warner Bros. said they’d love to do a sequel, Margot Robbie herself doesn’t seem super convinced it’ll happen. She said that everything they wanted to say was already poured into the first movie. According to her, they didn’t plan a trilogy or future installments. Basically, the first Barbie movie was a one-and-done in their minds. So yeah, for now, a sequel still lives in the maybe zone.
But Sydney didn’t stop at Barbie talk. She also opened up about finally being back on set for Euphoria season 3. After so many delays, the cameras are rolling again, and she sounds beyond excited. She said it feels like a high school reunion because so many crew members from the first two seasons are still around. It’s giving major throwback energy.
As for what’s coming next for her character Cassie, Sydney dropped a mini teaser. She didn’t spill too much, but what she did say was enough to make fans curious. According to her, Cassie’s story is going to be full of wild twists that even surprised her. She said it’s going to be something huge and that she can’t wait for everyone to see it.
So if you’ve been dying for more Barbie magic or waiting forever to see what goes down in the next Euphoria chapter, this is your sign to get excited. Whether Sydney ends up in a pink convertible with Margot Robbie or dealing with another Cassie-level breakdown on HBO, one thing’s for sure — she’s about to serve up something epic. Stay tuned.
