Viral Video Allegedly Shows Child Exploitation – Watch Out for Fake Links and Legal Risks! |
Social media’s in chaos again! Since Sunday, July 6, 2025, a 2-minute-31-second video has gone viral across platforms like X (Twitter), TikTok, and Telegram.
What’s in the video? A girl—allegedly named Andini Permata—is seen with a young boy. But here’s the catch: no one knows who she really is. Could be her real name, or just a fake identity made up for shock value.
The real problem? The video allegedly contains child exploitation content. That’s serious stuff—and people are freaking out. Making things worse, tons of links to the video have been spreading online. Not just one or two—netizens spotted at least eight!
Most of Those Links? Total Scams!
Let’s get real—most of the links going around are just clickbait traps. They don’t show the actual video. Instead, they redirect to sketchy sites full of fake ads, viruses, or even data-stealing malware. Yep, it’s as shady as it sounds.
Cybersecurity experts are sounding the alarm. “Clicking random viral links is risky. You could get hacked or have your personal info stolen,” warned one security pro.
You Could Be Breaking the Law—Seriously
And it’s not just about avoiding viruses. Sharing or even watching this kind of content is a criminal offense in Indonesia.
According to Article 27 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law, distributing indecent content can land you up to 6 years in jail and hit you with a fine of up to Rp1 billion.
If the content is confirmed to be child pornography, the penalties get even tougher. It’s not just the creators and sharers who are at risk—even viewers can face legal action.
And don’t forget—if anyone’s using those shady links to steal personal data, they can also be prosecuted under the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP). That means up to 5 years in jail and a fine of Rp5 billion. That’s next-level trouble.
Our Advice? Don’t Let Curiosity Cost You
If you come across suspicious links, don’t click—no matter how curious you are. A lot of them are straight-up scams that’ll just wreck your device or compromise your privacy.
Don’t let yourself become a victim just because a video is trending. It’s not worth the risk—digitally or legally.
In today’s digital world, being smart online isn’t optional—it’s essential. Think before you click, and know the law before you share.
Viral doesn’t always mean safe. Let’s all be smarter, safer, and more responsible netizens.
