Social Affairs Minister Tri Rismaharini (second left) and Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto on Monday (October 17, 2022) visited the evacuation site prepared at Jami Nurul Ikhlas Mosque, Bogor city, for residents affected by the Gang Barjo landslide, RT02/RW03, Kebon Jahe village, Kebonkelapa village, Central Bogor district.

Accompanied by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya Sugiarto, the minister greeted residents at the refugee camp at Jami Nurul Ikhlas Mosque on Veteran Street on Monday afternoon, reviewed the refugee situation, and checked the availability of equipment.

"This is much better than other evacuations, which usually (use) tents. This is in a permanent place, then I also send a toilet, then close to it," she said.

The evacuation to Jami Nurul Ikhlas Mosque was better and safer than the evacuations for which the tents are generally used.

The landslides struck on the night of October 12, 2022. The minister, who immediately went to the landslide site, asked the sub-district administration to shift the refugees from the prayer room, which was close to the affected area.

At that time, the regional government coordinated with the Rizki Danoe Gordhi Foundation to shift the refugees to the Jami Nurul Ikhlas Mosque, which it managed.

The mosque is located in front of Veteran Street, which is much higher than the landslide site, and the mosque has easier access to the highway.

"Since yesterday, we have requested the head of the sub-district. Mr, this one, this one, it is really better and in my opinion the safest among the locations chosen last time. So, in my opinion, this location is the most safe," the minister remarked.

According to data from the Bogor Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency, 139 people from 54 families had to be evacuated due to the landslide in Gang Barjo.

The incident claimed the lives of four people who were buried by an avalanche, while four others survived. The search for the dead extended five days until Sunday afternoon (October 16).

The landslide materials were in the form of soil and rocks, as well as large chunks from buildings. Since it occurred in a narrow alley, the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency and the joint SAR Team could not bring heavy equipment to the location.

The bodies of the four victims who died in the landslide proved difficult to locate since they were buried four meters deep on average. Sniffer dogs were brought to several locations until they finally managed to help the team find the victims’ bodies.

6 Signs You're Suffering From Anxiety And You Don't Even Know It

Inexplicable pain and inability to describe your emotions: let's talk about non-obvious signals that you should pay attention to.

We always know we feel anxiety, don't we? It would be nice, but, unfortunately, the situation does not always work out that way.

Many people who suffer from anxiety do not understand what exactly they are facing. They realize that they feel bad, but they cannot describe their feelings.

US research showed 60-80% of complaints during visits to the doctor are related to stress .

At the same time, at the reception, people do not say: “For the last five years, my marriage has been bursting at the seams, and my head and stomach constantly hurt. Can you help me deal with relationships and stress? They come with another request: "Prescribe me something for chronic headaches and stomach problems."

Natural anxiety occurs when we lose control of a situation. For example, when we drive a car on an icy road and the car starts skidding.

However, anxiety can also occur in the absence of physical danger. Let's say when we imagine how we will deliver an important report at a large conference.

In addition, with high internal anxiety, some people manage to maintain external calmness and even productivity.

6 Signs You're Suffering From Anxiety And You Don't Even Know It

To understand that your problems are connected precisely with anxiety , there are several signs.

1. You can't name your emotions.

If you don't listen to your feelings throughout the day, don't understand the reasons for your reactions, often can't explain exactly what you're feeling, and rarely cares about the state of mind of others, you may have alexithymia.

This is the inability to differentiate and express in words not only one's own, but also other people's feelings and emotions.

2. You have chronic health problems

If you go back to the moment when your neck first started to hurt or the first symptoms of chronic fatigue appeared , you will most likely remember that this was a difficult period, which meant stress and changes in life.

Perhaps your child is in first grade, you have taken on a new job, or you have ended a long romantic relationship.

In transitional moments, we lose control and begin to feel anxiety, which gradually develops into chronic diseases.

3. You do not share experiences with others

People who freely talk about their lives to others also talk about emotions.

Those who interact with others primarily through activities such as work, sports, or political debate communicate superficially.

If you find it difficult to discuss your feelings , perhaps anxiety is holding you back.

4. You don't know your needs

When a person's basic needs for communication, professional competence, and autonomy are not met, they tend to experience negative emotions.

If you don't understand what you need, you probably don't understand how you feel when your needs go unanswered.

5. You choose unhealthy ways to deal with stress.

You can tell yourself that you are fine, and at the same time start drinking a lot more alcohol, go back to smoking, spend evenings in front of the TV, or take it out on loved ones. These are all attempts to reduce stress.

6. You are experiencing unexplained physical pain.

If you're constantly facing challenges in life, your needs aren't being met, and you can't express emotions, then you're more likely to develop chronic pain.

The stress we experience at work, the lack of happiness at home, and the pressures that life puts on us turn into emotions.

It is they who help us understand when something is going wrong, and we need attention. If doctors say that everything is fine with your health, then physical pain is an alternative way that your body tries to declare experiences.

Agent banks, QRIS expediting financial inclusion: Ministry

Agent banks, QRIS expediting financial inclusion: Ministry
Deputy Minister II of State-Owned Enterprises Kartika Wirjoatmodjo at the SOE international conference, which was followed online on Monday (October 17, 2022).
Jakarta - Agent banks and Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) have helped accelerate national financial inclusion in recent years, according to Deputy Minister II of State-Owned Enterprises Kartika Wirjoatmodjo.

He cited a survey conducted by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), which showed that Indonesia's financial inclusion index increased significantly from around 50 percent in 2015 to 83.4 percent in 2021.

"I think these two services (agent banks and QRIS) are the key of the increase in financial inclusion, from 50 percent (in 2015) to 84 percent in 2021," Wirjoatmodjo said at the SOE international conference on “The Role of SOEs in Broadening Financial Access,” which was followed online from here on Monday.

Furthermore, the two services initiated by the government have created an ecosystem in which there are many micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) actors involved, which has ultimately contributed to encouraging national economic growth.

In addition, the two services have also made it easier for citizens living in the maritime or archipelagic country.

"These two services (agent banks and QRIS) make it easier for people on every island to access banking remotely, without having to come to a branch office," Wirjoatmodjo pointed out.

Speaking at the conference on Monday, he informed that the government is improving financial inclusion for ultra micro business actors. Of the 45 million ultra micro business actors in the country, 30 million do not have proper financial access.

"They (ultra micro business actors) already have a bank account or financial payment. However, they do not have adequate access to finance," Wirjoatmodjo noted.

Not only that, for increasing financial inclusion, financial literacy is being honed and consumer protection improved.

"The community not only has easy access to finance but also has access to protection, this is very important," Wirjoatmodjo said.

The financial inclusion index in Indonesia reached 83.6 percent in 2021, and several key indicators supported the achievement, including an increase in access to finance, acceleration of the use of formal financial services, and improvement in the quality of financial services.
