Mobile Land Certificate Service Launched in Tangerang Regency Deputy Minister Ossy Says It's a Real Step Toward Better Public Services.

Tangerang Regency – Good news for residents of Tangerang! The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has officially launched a Mobile Land Certificate Service, aiming to make it easier for the public to access land administration services.

What Is the Mobile Land Certificate Service?

This mobile service is an innovative initiative by the Land Office (Kantah) of Tangerang Regency. Instead of going all the way to the land office, residents can now get land-related services directly from a mobile unit stationed at nearby district offices.

Currently, the mobile service is available at the Kosambi District Office in Tangerang Regency.

Who’s Involved?

This program has received full support from multiple stakeholders. On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, Ossy Dermawan, visited the location to see the service in action. He was joined by representatives from the Indonesian Ombudsman, public administration experts, strategic issue resolution advisors, and other local officials.

Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid also welcomed the initiative, saying it would greatly benefit residents—especially since the main Land Office is located far away in Tigaraksa.

Why Is This Important?

According to Deputy Minister Ossy, this mobile initiative is a real improvement in public service delivery. The program is designed to have a direct and positive impact on citizens by simplifying the land certification process.

“Let’s not rush to increase the number of service vehicles,” said Ossy. “First, make sure this one unit truly works well and is beneficial for the people.”

He emphasized that the focus should be on quality over quantity, ensuring each mobile unit is fully optimized and efficient.

What’s the Outcome So Far?

During the visit, Deputy Minister Ossy personally handed over eight land certificates to local residents around Kosambi District. These certificates were issued by the Tangerang Land Office and processed through the mobile service unit.

How Does the Service Work?

According to Sudaryanto, Head of the Regional Land Office for Banten Province, the idea came from collective brainstorming among local work units under his office. They aimed to create a practical, impactful service—and the Mobile Land Certificate Service was the result.
