Samsung Galaxy F36 Debuts: Budget Phone with Leather-Like Design and 6 Years of Updates.

Samsung has just launched the Galaxy F36 5G in India, a budget-friendly smartphone with premium features that set it apart in its price range. One of its standout elements is the leather-textured back panel that gives it a stylish and sophisticated feel. The phone also comes with IP67 water and dust resistance, making it both good-looking and durable.

What really makes the Galaxy F36 impressive is Samsung’s promise of six major Android updates — starting from Android 15 up to Android 22 — along with six years of security updates, which means the device is supported all the way until 2031. That’s rare in the budget segment!

The phone features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Under the hood, it runs on the Exynos 1380 processor, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card.

On the camera side, the Galaxy F36 offers a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there's a 13MP selfie camera, ideal for video calls and social media.

Powering it all is a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless connectivity.

Available in Coral Red, Purple, and Black, the Galaxy F36 will go on sale starting July 29, 2025. Here's the pricing:

  • 6GB + 128GB: ₹17,499 (~$210)

  • 8GB + 128GB: ₹18,999 (~$230)

With its premium design, solid specs, and long-term software support, the Samsung Galaxy F36 is easily one of the best budget phones to watch this year.
