Banjarmasin – The national shipping company PT Dharma Lautan Utama (DLU), Banjarmasin branch, successfully completed its mission of transporting thousands of mudik travelers to Surabaya, East Java, via Trisakti Port in Banjarmasin.

“Alhamdulillah, we were able to serve travelers safely and smoothly this year, up to the last day of departures before the Eid holiday,” said Anton Wahyudi, Head of PT DLU Banjarmasin, on Friday (March 20, 2026).

During the 2026 Eid mudik season, DLU operated two main vessels, KM Dharma Rucitra 1 and KM Dharma Kartika 2. On the peak of the mudik flow at Trisakti Port on Monday (March 16), DLU added an additional vessel, KM Dharma Kartika 5, with a capacity of 1,000 passengers.

Anton also expressed his gratitude to all parties who helped ensure smooth sailing, especially the joint officers on standby at the Eid Transportation Integrated Post at Trisakti Port. “We also thank all passengers for trusting DLU as their choice for traveling to Java,” he added.

For the return trip, DLU scheduled the first sailing from Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya using KM Dharma Rucitra 1 on Tuesday (March 24) at 5:00 PM WIB, with an estimated arrival in Banjarmasin on Wednesday (March 25) at 1:17 PM WITA.

Data from Pelindo Regional 3, Kalimantan Sub-Region, shows a 15.45% increase in travelers compared to the same period last year. Specifically, Trisakti Port recorded the highest growth at 30.87% among other ports in Kalimantan. Meanwhile, the Banjarmasin Class I Port Authority (KSOP) recorded 10,950 travelers departing to Java until H-1 of Eid.

With a well-prepared fleet and good coordination, PT DLU Banjarmasin successfully ensured travelers reached their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time, proving the company’s commitment to national sea transportation services.
