Samarinda – Intercity and interprovincial (AKAP) bus services connecting East Kalimantan (Kaltim) and South Kalimantan (Kalsel) operated smoothly throughout the 2026 Eid homecoming and return travel period.
Yunita Sari, Supervisor of the Type A Samarinda Seberang Terminal Service Unit, confirmed that no incidents or operational disruptions were reported during the period.
“So far, there have been no reports of incidents or bus breakdowns from the outbound to return flow, as all fleets undergo routine inspections and strict driver safety protocols,” she said in Samarinda on Friday.
Total of 6,495 Passengers Served
A total of 6,495 passengers used the service from H-8 (March 13) to H+4 (March 26), 2026.
Of the total:
3,481 passengers were arrivals
3,014 passengers were departures
This reflects steady and well-managed mobility during the Eid travel season.
