| Tangsel Pilots NIB and NOP Integration Program, Deputy Minister Ossy Aims for Accurate Data and Boosted Regional Revenue. |
Tangerang Selatan — The city of South Tangerang (Tangsel) has officially been selected as the pilot location for the integration of Land Parcel Identification Numbers (NIB) and Tax Object Numbers (NOP). This collaborative initiative between the Tangsel Land Office (Kantah Tangsel) and the South Tangerang City Government (Pemkot Tangsel) is expected to bring tangible benefits to the public, especially in improving land data accuracy and increasing local revenue.
What Is the NIB and NOP Integration?
This integration program aims to connect data between land administration and regional tax systems. By synchronizing information, both institutions can improve efficiency, ensure transparency, and provide more accurate services for landowners and taxpayers.
Who’s Involved?
The pilot project is a joint effort involving:
-
Tangsel Land Office (Kantah)
-
South Tangerang City Government
-
Local Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Tangsel
-
Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi)
Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (Deputy Minister ATR/BPN), Ossy Dermawan, directly attended the presentation of the program on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. He praised the initiative and highlighted the mutual benefits for both the land office and the local government.
“I really appreciate this pilot project. For the land office, it offers access to highly accurate data, and for the city government, it helps boost local revenue,” said Deputy Minister Ossy.
Where Is the Program Being Tested?
Currently, the integration is being piloted in South Tangerang City. If successful, this initiative could be scaled up for implementation across Indonesia.
When and How Will It Expand?
When asked about nationwide implementation, Deputy Minister Ossy emphasized that the data must first be fully prepared and complete in each region.
“All land data must be complete first. Once that’s done, land offices can start transforming and collaborating with other institutions to integrate their systems,” he explained.
Why Is This Program Important?
Integrating NIB and NOP is crucial for improving public service delivery, enhancing regional income, and promoting transparency in land and tax administration. The government hopes that such collaboration will lead to more efficient systems that directly benefit local communities.
What’s the Government’s Expectation?
Deputy Minister Ossy called on all involved parties to maintain strong cooperation so that the program can be launched more widely in the near future. He hopes that the integration can truly make a positive impact at both institutional and community levels.
During his visit to the Tangsel Land Office, Ossy also interacted with residents waiting at service counters. He checked the quality of services and visited several office areas to ensure smooth operations.
