BorneoTribun Ketapang, Kalbar --A civil servant (PNS) with the initials RZ went berserk and threw a Molotov cocktail at the Ketapang Regent's Hall, Tuesday (25/1/2022). This desperate action was carried out by RZ during the procession of the inauguration of a number of officials within the Ketapang Regional Government (Pemda).
RZ, who is a civil servant with the position of Sub-Coordinator for Planning for Human Settlements at the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUTR) department, came to the scene without wearing official clothes and riding a motorbike.
When confirmed, the Ketapang Police Chief, AKBP Yani Permana confirmed the incident, Yani admitted that at this time his party had arrested the perpetrators.
"We have arrested the perpetrators, and members have also checked the location of the incident," he said.
Yani admitted that his party will also conduct a urine test on the perpetrators to confirm the condition of the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ketapang Police, AKP Primastya, confirmed that a bottle filled with fuel liquid in the form of a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the Ketapang Regent's Pendopo yard on Tuesday morning at around 08.40 WIB.
Primas explained that the incident began when the perpetrator came to the Ketapang Regent's Pendopo using a black Yamaha Aerox motorbike, which when he was about to enter the gate of the pavilion, the perpetrator had met the Head of the Ketapang Satpol PP.
"At that time the perpetrator immediately left the pavilion area, but after a while the perpetrator came back to the pavilion and parked the vehicle in the pavilion yard," he explained.
At the time of the incident, Primas admitted that the inauguration and oath-taking of the administrator of the Ketapang Regional Government was in progress at the Ketapang Regent's hall.
"After parking the motorbike, the perpetrator then opened the motorbike seat to take a bottle containing fuel with a cloth wick that had been prepared by the perpetrator, and then the perpetrator took a match and turned on the bottle wick and threw it towards the location of the inauguration of local government officials," he said.

As a result of the throwing, Primas admitted that the bottle broke and caused a fire which was finally extinguished by members of the Ketapang Satpol PP.
"The incident has been reported to the Ketapang Police, and members have been to the scene to secure the perpetrators and evidence to the Ketapang Police Headquarters," he said.
Primas added that currently the perpetrators have been detained at the Ketapang Police Headquarters and are undergoing further investigation.
"We are still conducting a deeper investigation to determine the motive for the perpetrator's actions," he explained.
Meanwhile, a resident of the Delta Pawan sub-district who refused to give his name admitted that he deeply regrets the dishonorable action of the civil servants, admits that such acts of thuggery are not appropriate for an employee.
"It should not be possible to carry out such acts of thuggery, because it can endanger the lives of other people for whatever reason is not justified and hopefully can be processed by law," he hoped.
He admitted that based on the information he received, the perpetrators often had problems at the office where they worked, even rarely entered the office and lastly had time to make a fuss at one of the nightclubs in Ketapang.
"The information is that, even if I'm not mistaken, there was also a fight at a nightclub some time ago. We as citizens hope that an incident like this will not happen again, we want Ketapang to be safe and comfortable," he said.
